BARICHORD is born from the creative union of two passionate musicians from Rome: Barbara and Riccardo, both devoted bassists whose love for music runs deeper than the industry trends that have dominated recent years.

As Gen X artists who grew up with the golden age of authentic musical expression, we found ourselves increasingly disconnected from what major labels have been producing. Instead of waiting for change, we decided to create it. BARICHORD represents our answer to the musical landscape we’ve been longing for.

The name itself tells our story: BArbara + RIccardo + CHORD – a harmony of two creative souls united by their shared passion for bass and genuine musical emotion. Our logo, featuring two bass clefs facing each other, symbolizes this musical dialogue and partnership.

While we embrace AI as a powerful creative tool, our hearts and hands remain at the center of everything we create. We write our own lyrics, pour our emotions into every composition, and use artificial intelligence not as a replacement for creativity, but as a way to finally unleash it without the traditional industry limitations that once held us back.

BARICHORD isn’t just about music – we’re expanding into music-themed literature as well. Our first book, “Legendary Love Tales: part one,” will be released in October 2025, exploring the profound connection between music and human emotion.
